The Professional Firearms Instructors at Guardian Elite offer a course designed to meet and exceed the state requirements for obtaining a FL Concealed Weapons and Firearms License.
These professional instructors are top-flight law enforcement officers, competitive shooters, and special private-security contractors. The range operations are monitored and operated by highly trained safety personnel and range safety officers.
Students attending this course will examine the Laws Pertaining to Concealed Firearms and utilizing deadly force, State application procedures, firearm safety and handling, basic marksmanship skills, proper firearm storage, and a live fire exercise with qualification.
Upon successful completion, students will achieve a certificate of completion which demonstrates proficient use of a firearm and satisfies one of the state requirements regarding obtaining a license.
Guardian Elite generally offers the FL Basic Concealed Weapons and Firearms certification course at least once a month and usually is offered on the last Saturday. Specialized and private courses are available upon request and may be held on alternative weekends, or weekdays by individual arrangement.
Class size is limited to 20 persons.

THIS IS NOT A SHOOTING INTENSIVE COURSE. SHOOTERS MUST BE ABLE TO SHOW "PROFICIENCY" WITH THE USE OF A FIREARM PER FL STATUTE. THIS INCLUDES BEING ABLE TO LOAD, SHOOT WITH ACCURACY, AND UNLOAD A SEMI-AUTOMATIC HANDGUN.
**Course times may end early, or be extended depending on course capacity, and the amount of questions generated during the class.
Students should NOT bring any firearms or ammunition to this class as they will not be needed and will not be used.
